Since my last post, i have been focusing on lighting. modelling the lights and experimenting with light ray and flares. Still unpolished lighting but the following images will be the base lighting setup for Nyx. Since Nyx is a game based on lighting, it's important to do the lighting properly. Red lights generally indicate that the section of the lab still hasn't got any power on where as the fluorescent light indicate the section of the lab is functional again. Here are my thought of examples of scare moments in Nyx implementing the animated scare moments since the team agreed that animated scare moments will induce more of a scare to the player. Here are some descriptive pictures:

It's been a while since I updated my blog but don't worry, I wasn't being lazy. These past few weeks have consisted of back tracking (optimizing) and texturing.... a lot of texturing. In fact i got so sick of texturing (repeating the process) that I decided to paint at 4am in the morning. Here is my awesome painting :P (a lot of errors i know).
